Xiaolu @ 6 Bittersweets

Hi Robin! Thanks for stopping by my site and providing these great images. I would love for you to share any kind of expertise with me and my readers. Would you like to do a guest post for my blog? I'd love for you to stop by anytime at all. Styling is still the part of photography I struggle with most.

Also, I was wondering if you knew where to buy an affordable version of the stand that's holding up the green fabric? It's hard to get the fabric as straight as this holding by hand hehe. Thanks and love your blog!

Robin

Hi Xiaolu
Thanks for the nice comment! Would be happy to guest post for you and your readers if you adjust your existing post to include my name and that you found this on my blog. :) Robin

LOVING the lace overlay on the cake. It looks both antique and modern- how is that? Lovely, none the less...

That is the work of the wonderful Penny Stankiewicz of Sugar Couture. Check out her website, www.sugar-couture.com. She's a true confectionary talent!

Hi Robin, I can't tell you how happy I am to find your blog through Xiaolu's 6 Bittersweets. Your blog is a great resource for amateur bloggers and photographers like myself. Love it that you are also providing the sources of the props used in these feature spreads. Will be back for more :)

Robin

Thanks for your nice comments Shirley. Glad to be of help!

Hello!

  • Robin_Pinkshirt

I'm Robin Zachary and I'm an obsessive hunter gatherer when it comes to styling. I love to juxtapose the old with the new to create something completely unique. I get most inspired by walking on the beach, antiquing in sleepy little towns and browsing through fabric stores for interesting textures, colors and patterns to use in my photo shoots for national brands and magazines. Welcome to my blog!
