My issue of Bridal Guide Magazine is on the newsstands! For most of February, March, April and May I filled in for their fashion editor Naima, while she was on maternity leave. You may or may not remember that I was the Creative Director at BG for quite a few years. It was great to be back in a totally different role, working with Diane and the gang. I've been covering the Tabletop market and styling the Home shoots as a contributor for the last few years, but let's just say I had a blast being on staff again. I had loads of fun going to fashion shows and jewelry previews, and styling the shoots.
Here are a few of my favorite shots from the "Modern Love" story in the Sept/Oct 2012 issue of Bridal Guide. The theme of the shoot is sleek and simple, modern dresses. We shot at the James Hotel in Soho with photographer Jennifer Robbins. Doesn't Alexandra the model looks a lot like Anne Hathaway? It was so great to work with Mary Cate who's got my old job art directing and doing an amazing job. For dress and accessory credits, see below.
